Bogotá and Armenia (Quindío), Colombia
Our group company Ascendia Consulting has successfully completed the first phase of the Transformación Grancolombiana initiative at Universidad La Gran Colombia (UGC), one of Colombia’s historic universities, under a strategic five-year agreement focused on innovation, internationalization, sustainability and institutional transformation.
Over the past six months, the international team worked across Bogotá and Armenia, Quindío, on institutional diagnostics, strategic planning, executive workshops and regional collaboration, culminating in the formal presentation of the Phase 1 transformation roadmap to the university’s leadership.

A runway for international companies
A core vision of the project is to position UGC as a strategic runway for international companies looking to establish operations in Colombia and expand across Latin America. During the closing week, the delegation took part in executive forums, institutional workshops, lectures, strategic meetings and media interviews.
